Who Qualifies

Referral Eligibility

A few simple guidelines to make sure everyone benefits from the program fairly.

✓ Valid Referrals

  • Brand-new player to UPL Indianapolis Metro
  • Joining their very first UPL team in this market
  • Player signs up and joins an active team for the session
  • You are an active UPL Indianapolis Metro member
  • Referral is confirmed by the league operator before credit is applied

✗ Invalid Referrals

  • Players switching teams — they are already registered
  • Players who have previously played in UPL Indianapolis Metro
  • Players who are already registered for the current session
  • Credits do not apply to membership fees, tournament entries, or merchandise
  • Credits cannot be exchanged for cash — division match fees only

6 Ball Shootout Rules & Critical Eligibility

🎱 6 Ball Shootout Rules

Official tiebreaker for qualifiers and Grand Finals.

  • Objective: Pocket all 6 balls in the quickest time
  • Timing: Starts on strike, stops on last ball pocketed
  • Rotation: Player A shoots, then Player B
  • Fouls: +5 seconds penalty added to your time
  • Scratch: Ball in hand — opponent places ball anywhere

⚠️ Critical Eligibility

  • 5 Player Rule — Must retain 5 players from the winning roster
  • Min Play — 4 matches per session, 10 matches per season
  • Active Status — Team must be active in the following session
  • UPScore Lock — Ratings are locked (max drop 25 pts)

Your Role

What Does a Rep Do?

  • →Serve as the official on-site league lead for your division, setting the standard for every match night
  • →Ensure matches start on time and that all scores are accurately recorded
  • →Address player questions, ensure full compliance with league rules, and resolve disputes fairly and professionally
  • →Actively help grow your division by welcoming new teams and players to the league
Compensation
